Christmas for All

Benefiting the Dominican and Haitian children in the Dominican Republic
Christmas for All is a community service event that started in 2013 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This event was started to bring awareness to the hardships of the street children living in the Capital and surrounding communities, with a focus around the Christmas holidays.  U.S based non-profit, haitianrelieforganization.org a local Dominican non-profit, fundacionads.org and community volunteers got together and coordinated to provide a Christmas meal, sharing a Christmas gift and entertainment for the children living on the streets.
Our first event took place on Dec 19th 2013 in a small park known for its aggressiveness and homelessness in Santo Domingo. We purchased all the ingredients to prepare a gourmet meal for the kids living on the streets.

Our second event took place on December 20th 2014. This happened in Plaza Guibia which is located in Santo Domingo on the Malencon. Because of exposure and word of mouth, this event grew over four times from the previous year and we needed a lot more help. A local church and dance troupe volunteered to serve and put on a dance routine to entertain the children.

This year we are preparing to re-double our efforts for a much larger event! We will be advertising the event on a web-based education and cultural magazine: "amanstesdelsaber.com" raise money trough sponsorships, creating a campaign on Indiegogo to help raise awareness and funds for the event.
We believe that we could serve well over 300 at this years event.

We are hoping that this will be a cause that others will help support, continue to grow, raise awareness and be part of impacting and making a measureable difference in the lives' of these children that have become invisible to the world.
